walking & sitting







The air is warm during a morning walk along the estuary, along the chiff chaff corridor. Against the shaded wall there are wild garlic flowers blooming, dew drops sparkling from the tips of leaves. The tight deep buds on the apple tree, so exposed, are bursting.













I sat in the garden of my new (ish) home and smelt the apple blossom this morning. The house and shed - and next door house I think, create a corner that catches the scent. I have not often experienced the smell without being closer to the trees a
