dream in green leafiness on white

I haven't written for a while...the things I have nearly written might be too much to put out. I wonder sometimes if to just put the beautiful and the lovely and the happy here. But sometimes sharing bewiderment and anger with life can help...because others feel it too.
This image is particularly special to me I saw it, took the photograph and it was everything I wanted it to be. On flickr it hasn't had much notice...strange how different images appeal to different people.

blue

blue blue sky over blue blue sea. bright green of hawthorn startles against this blue. more blackthorn showing white. turquoise car passes with great creamy white alsatian head out of the sunroof. nose heavily irritated as a woman on the bus sprays some perfumed body product onto herself.

back

I arrive back from more than 2 weeks away, not exactly full of words, rather seeking silence. Much chaos of belongings seems to be around me. A wondering of what now.
Also I feel truly, briefly, softly yet thoroughly touched. I want to give...and receive.
I am not going to do an authentic movement course, for several reasons other than cost, though currently the right amount of money sits in my bank account.

lily, rose & green

late roses soft and sweet, I want to curl into them, soft against my skin, fragrant on my face.

a walk in the field

I am worried: I go out for a walk in the hay field and look at myself, heavens! am I looking a bit Boden/Country Living?? Achieved with secondhand & cheap I might add.... I ask the dog but he declines to answer. The dock beatles keep munching and the cows, the cows...the worst has occurred, one has failed her TB test, totally, a test that even the ministry vet says is next to useless, there is a much much more accurate test but it is not used. So both cows will have to go...will we be able to avoid the lorry and slaughter house for the dispatch of the other? It is something I can hardly think about. My parents are not sentimental about animals - though I think in older age it is creeping in, but they don't want to put a cow through the stress of the journey and the slaughterhouse, they stopped doing that some time ago. When the pigs that you are keeping for your own consumption come back with evidence of pre-slaughter bruising it is not OK. And this whole TB problem: the test in very unreliable, many many cattle are slaughtered that don't have the disease - immunity is bred out of the herds and some people blame the badgers. All the while there is a test that is much much more efficent... Oh and the more that an animal is tested (in TB areas more regular testing) the more it will build up antibodies and test positive.... We are having enough of death in this household.

So my lovely lush green walk is tinged with sadness and anger. And I no longer worry about Boden/country Living look. The dog never was worried. then we face the mud as we come back across the stream, nothing like a bit of slippery, wet muddy, deep muddy, stuff to bring ones attention to the NOW.

chrysalis & lilies

I am a chrysalis, it seems I am forever a chrysalis, but surely I can feel my wings pushing against the hard shiny outer case, an urgent want to unfold?

I remember a few years ago having a strong sense of being a chrysalis, I wondered if people had noticed me being the caterpillar furiously devouring, before curling into a shell and turning to soup. Not long after I had some reiki consultations. On about my second visit she said that she often sees people's animal - not like a guide I can't remember how she put it. Then she frowned a bit and said she could see mine but didn't know what it was called - it was the stage between caterpillar and butterfly - of course I knew what it was!

late august morning

one of those september mornings in late August... I shrink into the crystal cradle webs of tiny spiders, as they finger through their labyrinths with ease. a dew beaded beetle sits quietly on the flower, later when a little dried it is seeking the delights inside the flowers along with the bees and vivid blue flies. As I watch a cool damp footed bee lands on my finger. I fall into the blue sky and laugh til my body aches.

linden blossom

I thought I would miss the deep and delightfully heady small of the linden blossom. I have to travel to the city to find it. There it was: llandaff Fields in the rain deep pools of scent in the air.
